We stayed in the stables for half term week, what a lovely place, beautiful setting, in the cairngorms, with great facilities,

The stables had a large living dining kitchen, we were worried that the photos only showed one sofa, but there were two comfy leather sofas. Fully equipped kitchen, with the all important appliances, lovely comfy beds, and bedding, two bathrooms (one a full wet room). Would have welcomed some instructions on the under floor heating, not sure we quite got that right? However we were certainly never cold so perhaps we did! The wood burner was like a home from home for us.

Our dog was right at home and the 3 labradors on the farm were very friendly, Paddy frequently came to visit us and Ken very kindly said not to worry about our own dog being off his lead which made it much more relaxing.

We had a great day at Deeside activity park as well, Will was brilliant and even our three year old enjoyed a turn on the quads and karting (you get a 10% discount if staying in the cottages)

Lovely area, I enjoyed some stunning scenery on my morning runs, (didn't enjoy the hills quite so much but I managed!). There are plenty of things to do and see nearby with some great forest walks and an adventure searching for waterfalls was had.

A really lovely welcome break in a stunning area, very very reasonably priced! Would love to go back one day.
